Who We Are
About Have Hope Ministries
A Personal Mission
Have Hope Ministries, Inc. was formed by Donna Reeves in early 2018. Donna knows what it is like to go through tough times and to “just need a little extra help.” When her own family struggled to pay the bills, she was frequently turned away because she made “just a little too much” to qualify for assistance. Donna decided then that she wanted to find a way to provide help to whoever may need it — no matter their income or qualifications.
At Have Hope Ministries, we want to give individuals and families a little hope when things seem hopeless.
“Share Your Food With The Hungry …” – Isaiah 58:7 NLT
Our Mission
Our mission is to help reduce food insecurities in our communities, while giving hope to those we serve.
Meet the Board

Donna Reeves
President
Donna is the founder, serves as the President of the board, and helps run the day-to-day operations of Have Hope Ministries. She has a passion to serve the community and after many years of planning and dreaming, her vision for Have Hope Ministries finally came together in March of 2018.
Donna has a Business Administration Associates Degree from Harrisburg Area Community College and is working towards her Bachelors at Penn State. She has also earned her certificate in Medical Billing and a Diploma for Medical Assisting. Donna has worked in the medical field for 18 years and currently serves as a Medical Billing Manager. Her strengths are in customer service. She is detail-oriented, able to work well in groups and independently, and she loves projects. These skills are vital to her role at Have Hope Ministries, where overseeing the day-to-day operations requires great customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in groups. Donna continues to pour her efforts into community projects and fundraisers for the ministry.
Donna has been married to her husband Chris since 2004 and they have a teenage son named Christopher. Her family would not be complete without her fur children: Daisy, Zoey, Mighty, and Pumpkin. In her free time, Donna enjoys relaxing with family and friends, reading, gardening, taking walks, and Bible studies. She also enjoys continuing her education whenever she can.

Michele Brandt
Vice President
Michele grew up in South Central Pennsylvania and eventually moved to the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. She is a mother of three children and a grandmother. Michele has been married to her husband since 1997.
Michele has worked in the medical field for over 20 years in a variety of positions — taking a small break to open a daycare in her home so she could find more time with her children. Michele knows what it means to work hard. She is active in her church, the Leader of the Prayer Team of her campus, and active in the woman ministry. She is also working on becoming an ordained minister. God has placed a vision in her heart to feed her local community.
Michele partnered with Have Hope Ministries to bring the gift card program to her area in Hampton Roads, Virginia. She also plans on expanding the services of Have Hope in Hampton Roads. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, going to the beach, baking cakes, crafting, and spending time with her family. Michele looks forward to continuing to help her community.
